Privacy policy

FailFlow Tools operates failflow.net. This page explains what information is processed when you use the site. Last updated: October 3, 2026.

Information we collect

The calculators do not ask for your name, email address or any account details. Dates you enter (for example a birthday in the age or death-clock tools) are used to build the result page and are not stored in a database.

Log data

Like almost every website, our hosting provider and CDN record standard request data — IP address, browser type, the page requested, date and time — to deliver pages, keep the site secure and diagnose problems. These logs are kept only as long as needed for those purposes.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics (set up through Google Site Kit) to understand which tools are used and how visitors find the site, for example pages viewed, approximate location (country or city), device and browser type, and the referring website. Google processes this data on our behalf under its privacy policy; see also how Google uses information from sites that use its services. We do not use analytics data to identify you, and we do not run advertising. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on or by blocking cookies.

Cookies

Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (_ga and _ga_*) that store a random identifier for up to two years. The site does not set advertising cookies. Security and caching services may also set strictly necessary cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser; the tools will keep working.

Service providers

We use a hosting company, a content-delivery network (Cloudflare) and Google Analytics to run and measure the site. They process data on our behalf and may not use it for their own advertising.

Links to other sites

Some pages link to studies, official sources and other websites. We do not control their content or privacy practices; please review their policies.

Children's privacy

The site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we keep the data we handle to a minimum.

Changes

We may update this policy; changes take effect when posted here.
